Disney Channel and Disney XD is conducting a talent search for new actors and actresses, and an open casting call is scheduled for July, 2011 in Richmond, Virginia. They are seeking talented, young actors, actresses, singers and dancers between the ages of 10 and 18 (or look like you are 10 – 18 years of age) to be considered for roles in upcoming Disney Channel and Disney XD Original Movies and Televisions Series. If you have a strong desire to act, sing, or dance, then Disney casting directors would love to see you at this open casting call.

Sony Pictures Television has been given a series order for a new ABC TV show set in the early 1960′s about the pilots and flight attendants who once made the now-defunct Pan Am airlines the most glamorous way to fly. Auditions for principal actors, guest stars, extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles will take place throughout Summer 2011. Filming on season 1 of “Pan Am” begins on July 25, 2011 in New York.

The highly popular hit CW teen drama series “Gossip Girl” has been picked up for season 5, which will consist of 22 episodes. Auditions and casting will be ongoing for principal actors, guest stars, day player actors, as well as extras, photo doubles and stand-ins throughout Summer and Fall 2011. Season 5 will air beginning Monday, September 26, 2011 on The CW at 8/7c and the season finale will air in May, 2012.

The mega hit NBC reality talent show “The Voice” is holding open casting calls and accepting audition video DVD‘s for season 2, which will begin production in mid-October, 2011. Auditions for season 2 of The Voice will be sweeping the nation beginning July 2011. Applicants must be willing to travel to Los Angeles, CA for up to one week in September/October, 2011 for the final selection process.
