The high school-set thriller feature film “Downers Grove”, starring Hayden Panettiere, is set to go before the cameras October, 2011. Shooting will take place in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. Casting for supporting roles, day players, extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles will continue throughout production. The main stars are being cast in Los Angeles, and the smaller roles and extras are cast in Baton Rouge.

The feature film “The Great Gatsby” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire will be filming for 17 weeks beginning mid-late September 2011 near Sydney and Moore Park, New South Wales, Australia. The casting directors are casting supporting roles, day players, extras, photo doubles, and stand-ins to work various dates during production. Over 400 cast and crew are being employed during principal photography.

Production on the Disney Channel Original Movie “Shrinking Violet” is set to begin in August, 2011 and casting for day players, extras and stand-ins will continue throughout filming. The movie is being shot in Vancouver, BC which has become a Disney Channel favorite location for many productions.

ABC Family is now in production on a new drama series titled “Jane By Design”, and the show’s casting directors are auditioning talent for guest starring, day player, and under-five roles. Extras and stand-ins will also be hired throughout production on season 1, which will wrap on October 6, 2011. The series is being shot at Santa Clarita Studios.

‘The third and final installment in three-time Academy Award nominee Christopher Nolan‘s Batman film series continues principal photography, and is headed back to tinseltown. The urban action adventure will be ripping through the streets of Los Angeles soon, and there will be an official open casting call for both union and non-union extras in late July.

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Steven Spielberg is set to begin production on the highly anticipated major feature film ‘Lincoln’ late September, 2011 in Chicago and Virginia. The extras casting director is holding an open casting call in Richmond, VA seeking men above 20 years of age. There will also be another open casting call in August for women and children.

Summit Entertainment is set to begin filming ‘I, Alex Cross‘ on August 8th in Cleveland, and then move to Detroit from September, 2011 through October 3rd, 2011. There will be an open casting call on July 23 in Cleveland for featured extras, general background extras, photo doubles, and stand ins for the film’s stars. The production is expected to hire more than 1,700 cast members and extras in the Cleveland area.

The show is filmed in Austin, Texas and there is an open casting call scheduled for extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles. The show centers on twin identical sisters separated at birth – one rich and one poor. When the rich one goes missing the poor sister sets out to find her.

They are seeking thousands of Iranian/Persian men and women between the ages of 18-75 years old.
