Imagine Entertainment and Teakwood Lane Productions are currently in pre-production on the new 20th Century Fox TV series “24: Live Another Day”, which is a 12-episode run based on the mega-hit Fox network and worldwide syndicated political spy action thriller series “24″ which spanned 192 episodes over eight seasons, and pulled in countless awards including 68 Emmy nominations, with 20 wins. The casting directors for “24: Live Another Day” are auditioning actors for lead roles, supporting roles, and recurring roles in Los Angeles. The show will be set in London, UK and will be filmed there for this limited first-run season. The extras will be cast in London.

The movie is an adaptation of the Tony Award winningBroadway musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. Disney Casting directors in New York and Los Angeles are auditioning actors/singers for starring and co-starring roles. Additional casting will take place in London, UK where filming will take place beginning in September, 2013. The extras, photo-doubles, and stand-ins for the film’s stars will be cast in London.
21 Laps Entertainment and The Jim Henson Company are now in the pre-production stage on the upcoming live-action Disney feature film “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” which is based on the children’s book by Judith Viorst. Disney casting executives are conducting a widespread talent search for a boy age 10-12 to play the lead role of Alexander Conners. Both SAG-AFTRA talent and non-union talent can submit via uploading an audition video to the official Disney casting authorized website for this film. Shooting will take place from August through October, 2013 in Los Angeles.

Roth Films/Real Heaven, Inc. in association with Wheelhouse Entertainment are in pre-production on the Sony Pictures true-story feature film “Heaven is for Real” based on the New York Times best-selling book written by Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent. The book has over 7 million copies in print, and has sold over 1 million eBooks. Casting directors across the United States and Canada are conducting a massive talent search for a 6-8 year old boy to play the role of Colton Burpo. They are considering new talent with no experience or training required. Filming will take place this summer in Canada, so as not to interfere with schooling.

Sony Pictures Television in association with Gran Via Productions and Nemo Films are in pre-production on a new one-hour drama series pilot titled “Wild Blue”. The show’s casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are holding auditions for series regulars, with additional auditions to take place as soon as the regulars are cast. The stand-ins and background extras will be cast throughout shooting on the series pilot episode, which begins mid-March, 2013 in Los Angeles. There will be a very large number of people hired to play Navy personnel on the show.
Blondie Girl Productions in association with Salty Pictures and Hollywood Farms will begin shooting in January, 2013 on a new Disney Channel Original Movie titled “Cloud Nine”. The project is a snowboarding themed telefilm. The local UtahDisney casting directors have scheduled an open casting call for featured and general background performers in Salt Lake City. Snowboarding experience is helpful but not required. All types are needed, and there is no previous experience required to be cast. Filming will continue throughout February, 2013.
From the Academy Award winning producers of three Harry Potter films comes the upcoming epic feature film “Christ The Lord,” based on the best-selling novel “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt” by Anne Rice. The casting directors are accepting online self-taped video auditions from boys ages 7-10 to play the starring role of Jesus as a child. Filming begins on March 6, 2013 and will continue through the end of May, 2013. There will also be 2-4 weeks paid rehearsal prior to filming. The shoot will take place in Rome and Matera, Italy. Casting directors are conducting a talent search for both Los Angeles area actors, as well as out-of-town actors for major roles in the movie. The project is a snowboarding themed telefilm that will shoot in Utah during Winter, 2013. Roles for both teen males and females are being cast, along with roles for their parents and a rich owner of a snowboarding company and ski resort. All of the extras and stand-ins will be hired in Utah throughout filming.
