From the Academy Award winning producers of three Harry Potter films comes the upcoming epic feature film “Christ The Lord,” based on the best-selling novel “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt” by Anne Rice. The casting directors are accepting online self-taped video auditions from boys ages 7-10 to play the starring role of Jesus as a child. Filming begins on March 6, 2013 and will continue through the end of May, 2013. There will also be 2-4 weeks paid rehearsal prior to filming. The shoot will take place in Rome and Matera, Italy. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for the person chosen.

Film 44 in association with Weed Road Pictures and Spikings Entertainment are in pre-production on the major feature film “Lone Survivor” based on true events of Operation Red Wings, a joint military operation that took place in the Pech District of Afghanistan’s Kunar Province in Late June through Mid-July 2005. Casting directors in Los Angeles and New Mexico (where the film will be shot) are casting talent of all ages including children and seniors for speaking roles in the movie. The extras, photo-doubles, and stand-ins will be hired in New Mexico starting in September when shooting begins.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and Key Pix Productions are set to start filming “Super Buddies“, the 6th installment in the Air Buddies franchise. The casting director is auditioning for both on-camera and voice-over talent. There are roles being cast for boys and girls, adults, and seniors. Shooting will take place in Vancouver, BC from late August through October, 2012. Principal actor roles are being cast in both Los Angeles and Vancouver, while the extras and stand-ins will all be cast in Vancouver.

The pride and excitement that a parent feels when their child is up there on stage performing can be an amazing experience. Whether it be theatre, film, television, modeling… the overwhelming sense of accomplishment for both parent and child can be very powerful. But for many, that wonderment can drive parents to overlook some of the most basic safety precautions, resulting in terrible exploitation of their child – and great harm both physically and emotionally. A parent must be perfectly responsible with no room whatsoever for error in a business where pedophiles infiltrate and thrive.

The project was formerly titled “Billion Dollar Freshman,” but has been renamed “Lab Rats”. Disney Channel auditions and extras casting is ongoing throughout production on season one.

It’s A Laugh Productions produces all of Disney Channel’s sitcoms.
AB Media Publishing, LLC Disney XD and It’s a Laugh Productions are currently in production on the comedy sitcom pilot “Shmagreggie Saves The World”. Disney casting directors are holding auditions for the show’s starring roles, which includes male and female fraternal twins. After the three starring roles are cast, the other series regulars will be cast. Extras will be cast closer to the shooting date in February, 2012.
