Original Film is set to begin production on the Columbia Pictures action comedy feature film “22 Jump Street”, and the casting director is holding auditions for lead, co-starring and suporting roles as college students. Extras will be cast throughout filming, with a very large amount of college age people needed. The movie is a sequel to the hit 2012 film “21 Jump Street”, which had a budget of $42 million and took in over $202 million worldwide at the box office. Shooting will get underway on September 23rd. The release date is scheduled for June 13, 2013.

Atlas Entertainment and Annapurna Pictures are set to begin shooting a major feature film in Boston, MA and New York City for Columbia Pictures. Casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are casting the film’s supporting roles. Smaller speaking roles are being cast in Boston and New York, where shooting will take place from March 18, 2013 through May 19, 2013. The project is currently using the working title of “Untitled David O. Russell/Abscam Project”. Extras will be cast throughout production. Sony Pictures Entertainment will be shooting a remake of the music-themed 1976 film “Sparkle” inspired by the story of The Supremes. The extras casting director needs to hire over 3,000 background actors to work on the film in the Detroit, Michigan area this Fall, 2011. All ages and types are needed, no experience is necessary, this is fully paid employment, and there no fees to apply or work on the film. Columbia TriStar Pictures will distribute.
Academy Award winning Scott Rudin and Columbia Pictures have cast one of the most talented and unquestionably beautiful actors in history to star in the upcoming feature film “Cleopatra”. Angelina Jolie – who has already won an Oscar, 23 additional acting award wins, and 56 acting award nominations – will be starring as the young Queen and last pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. Auditions for the film’s co-stars and supporting players will be an intensive undertaking.
