Wheatfield Productions and Kimball Technologies Productions are set to begin filming the Walt Disney Pictures feature film “Tomorrowland” in August, 2013. The casting directors are accepting submissions from talent for major supporting roles in the film. The roles include several children as well as adults. Production will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia where the extras and stand-ins will be cast throughout the shoot. All ages, types, and ethnicities can register to be considered for extra work.
ABC Family is currently casting lead and supporting roles in Los Angeles for the upcoming musical telefilm “The Mistletones”. Sony Pictures in association with Overbrook Entertainment are set to begin production on the major sci-fi epic thriller feature film “After Earth” which had previously been titled “1000 A.E.” Shooting will take place in Philadelphia and some out of town locations starting on February 6, 2012 and continue through mid May, 2012. The casting directors are seeking both photo-doubles and stand-ins for Jaden Smith, as well as numerous extras to work on the film.
Treehouse Pictures in association with Anonymous Content are getting ready to begin filming the comedy feature film “Adult World” starring Emma Roberts. Casting for co-starring and supporting roles is taking place in New York City. ABC Family has ordered the pilot episode for a new half-hour series called “Village People”. Casting for the series regulars is taking place in Los Angeles and New York. The show is being executive produced by the talented and beautiful Jennie Garth, who will also play the starring role of single career woman who adopts a baby from a teen mom and ends up taking care of the mother as well.

The lead starring roles have been cast in Los Angeles, however the New Mexico casting director is hiring smaller speaking roles, extras, stand-ins and photo doubles. They are seeking people who can portray 1880’s western townsfolk.
