The hit NBC science fiction television drama series “Revolution” has been renewed for a full 22-episode second season, and the show has moved shooting locations from Wilmington, North Carolina to Austin, Texas. The series casting directors are auditioning actors for new recurring, guest starring, and day player roles. In addition, the local Austin casting director is seeking talent to work as series regular extras for the entire second season. Shooting will take place from July 5, 2013 through April 30, 2013.
Film 44 in association with Weed Road Pictures and Spikings Entertainment are in pre-production on the major feature film “Lone Survivor” based on true events of Operation Red Wings, a joint military operation that took place in the Pech District of Afghanistan’s Kunar Province in Late June through Mid-July 2005. Casting directors in Los Angeles and New Mexico (where the film will be shot) are casting talent of all ages including children and seniors for speaking roles in the movie. The extras, photo-doubles, and stand-ins will be hired in New Mexico starting in September when shooting begins.
The independent comedy western film “A Night In Old Mexico” starring Academy Award winner Robert Duvall, is holding an open casting call in Texas for both speaking roles and extras. The project is also using the working title of “Skydance”. Shooting will take place in Austin, Texas as well as the Brownsville area, where the open casting call is being held. In addition to actors and extras, Stand-ins and Photo Doubles for lead actors are also needed. Children, teens, adults, and seniors are all needed. Principal photography begins on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. The film tells the story of a cranky Texas rancher who is forced to give up his land and move to a trailer park, and takes a last wild ride with his estranged grandson where both learn life lessons.
