Casting calls for new NBC Universal Television series ‘Chicago PD’ actors and extras
Wolf Films and Open 4 Business Productions are now in pre-production on the new NBC Universal Television one-hour police drama series “Chicago PD”. Casting directors in New York and Chicago are holding auditions for new series regulars, recurring roles, guest stars, and day players. The series extras are being cast on an ongoing basis throughout production on season one. The show centers on the Windy Cities Police Department in Chicago, and is a spin-off from the hit NBC series “Chicago Fire”. Paramount Pictures feature film ‘Transformers 4’ open casting call in Chicago seeking adults and children
Di Bonaventura Pictures and DreamWorks SKG in association with Hasbro are filming the Paramount Pictures science fiction action film “Transformers 4”, and the casting director has scheduled open casting calls in Chicago for people interested in working on the film as fully paid general extras and possible featured background actors. Sony Pictures talent search for boy to play lead role in ‘Heaven is for Real’
Roth Films/Real Heaven, Inc. in association with Wheelhouse Entertainment are in pre-production on the Sony Pictures true-story feature film “Heaven is for Real” based on the New York Times best-selling book written by Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent. The book has over 7 million copies in print, and has sold over 1 million eBooks. Casting directors across the United States and Canada are conducting a massive talent search for a 6-8 year old boy to play the role of Colton Burpo. They are considering new talent with no experience or training required. Filming will take place this summer in Canada, so as not to interfere with schooling.

The movie centers on eleven-year-old Norman Ollestad, who survived a plane crash which left him stranded on an icy mountaintop by using the skills his father instilled in him. The film’s Primetime Emmy Award nominated casting director is conducting a national talent search for a 9-11 year old boy to play the lead role. The movie is based on Ollestad’s novel “Crazy for the Storm: A Memoir of Survival“. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles starting April, 2013.
