‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ casting for lead and supporting roles taking place in Los Angeles and London

Lucasfilm, an owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, in association with Bad Robot Productions, Genre Films, and Kasdan Pictures are in pre-production on the highly anticipated epic feature film “Star Wars: Episode VII”. Despite the recent change in writers, shooting will still commence on January 21, 2014. Casting calls have been issued and auditions are taking place for starring and co-starring roles. The primary filming locations will be at Pinewood Studios in the UK, with additional shooting in New Mexico, and in Los Angeles. J.J. Abrams has constructed production facilities at his Bad Robot Santa Monica headquarters specifically for Star Wars: Episode VII. The extras will be cast throughout production in London and New Mexico. Film crew resumes can be submitted via email to the production office.

Open auditions are now scheduled across Australia through the month of July, 2013. The qualities being sought are singers of any genre or style who are 12 years of age and older, ability to dance or learn to dance, some acting skills, good stage presence and performance skills, and a strong desire to succeed as a performer.

Di Bonaventura Pictures and DreamWorks SKG in association with Hasbro are set to begin production on the Paramount Pictures science fiction action film “Transformers 4“. Casting directors are auditioning actors in Los Angeles, as well as Austin, TX where filming will take place beginning late May, 2013. The extras will be cast throughout filming. Additional shooting will take place in various locations including China. This project is currently being referred to as “Untitled Transformers Sequel,” and will the first feature film to be shot using smaller digital IMAX 3D cameras.

The movie is an adaptation of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. Disney Casting directors in New York and Los Angeles are auditioning actors/singers for starring and co-starring roles. FOX hit musical comedy-drama ‘Glee’ casting new regulars for season four

The smash hit musical comedy-drama television series “Glee” is casting new series regulars to make up the new high school glee club for the show’s fourth season. Filming is scheduled to start in late July, however rehearsals will possibly begin in early July. The show’s extras will be cast closer to the start of shooting in July. “Glee” is filmed at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles utilizing a single-camera setup. Season 4 of “Glee” will launch on a new night and time on Thursday September 13, 2012 at 9:00-10:00pm ET/PT.
